So, you’re planning a Mallorca cycling holiday. You’ve found our host of guides to cycling in Mallorca, our GPX routes, our suggestions for where to stay.

You know you could follow them and have a great time.

But a little bit of you (or perhaps a lot) wants more support. Perhaps you’re short of time and want someone to take the hassle out of booking everything. Perhaps you want someone who can flex our routes to make them longer or shorter, or more hilly or include more coffee stops. Perhaps you want someone to offer a bit of coaching, a support vehicle, some moral support and camaraderie.

So you start to look at cycling holiday Mallorca tour options.

And it’s a nightmare! There are so many options! Which to choose?!

That’s how we felt.

So we wrote this article.

We’ve taken nine of the best known Mallorca cycling holiday tour operators and here we compare what they offer. The idea is that it lets us all see in one article the differences between each company.

We hope you find this comparison of Mallorca bike tour operators useful, and go on to have the best Mallorca cycling holidays! Let us know in the comments below!

This article is based on information on each operator’s website. We were surprised how little detail was generally available (and it’s possible we missed something when preparing this article or the situation has changed since we wrote it), so please be aware that the information here is not 100% accurate. Please don’t rely on it and check direct with the operator(s).

The prices usually assume two people occupying a room. If you want single occupancy, expect to pay more. Also carefully check the trip inclusions – we’ve just summarised the situation below and the inclusions may well vary for each trip.

In November 2021 we created this article on the hidden climbs of Mallorca and this article on the best routes in Mallorca with SunVelo. We also work with Mellow Jersey, who offer women’s cycling tours in Mallorca. Neither have paid to feature in this article.

Want to know which other cycling tour operators we worked with in 2023? Read this.

This article on the questions to ask before you book a bike holiday and women’s bike tours may also be useful.

Our tips for choosing a Mallorca bike tour operator

It can be tricky to get what you want out of a Mallorca cycling holiday if you’ve never been there, so that’s why we recommend using a reputable cycling tour company. But how do you know which bike tours are best? We’ve put together a few tips below, but for a more in-depth guide make sure you read our article on choosing the best bike tour companies.

1. Check the reviews

There are plenty of cycling tour in Mallorca reviews online, make sure you read them before booking a tour operator. Make sure they’re from independent or verified guests as well. You could sink a lot of money into one of these cycling holidays in Mallorca, so do your research before booking. Also try looking up Majorca cycling holidays and reading the reviews – you’ll likely find more British reviews since a lot of Brits use the Majorca spelling.

2. Make sure you and your group agree on what you want out of the trip

There’s no point booking a Mallorca cycling tour if the rest of the group want to spend their time lounging about by the pool. Get the most out of your Mallorca cycling trips by figuring out beforehand if you want guided rides and structure to your trip, or whether you’re happy finding your own way to Puig Major.

Our conclusion

We hope you’ve found this a useful overview of the kinds of Mallorca cycling holiday operators out there and the differences between them.

Some of the biggest differences we noticed between operators were:

  • where they’re based
  • how many weeks of the year they’re based in Mallorca
  • whether they have fixed departure dates or not
  • the level to which you can bespoke your trip
  • whether transfers are included in the price or not and
  • how transparent they are on group size.

Have you used any of these companies to book your Majorca cycling vacations? We’d love to hear your experiences – comment below!
