Why stay in a bike friendly hotel vs a hotel

Traditional hotels provide a broad range of services for all guests.

However, cycling hotels cater specifically to the needs of cyclists, offering a variety of amenities and services tailored to enhance the cycling experience for their guests.

Bike friendly hotels

These are typically designed with cyclists in mind and offer specialised services for them.

Amenities you can usually find include secure bike storage, bike wash facilities, repair kits and possibly even bike rentals.

Some other cycling-specific services may even be included such as guided tours and maps of local routes. The very best may even have workshops or training sessions.

These hotels are often also located in popular cycling areas with easy access to bike routes or trails.

This article goes into more detail about what to look for in a bike hotel.
