Fifteen years ago, he swapped the rolling hills of Sauerland and Holstein cows for the Alpine meadows and majestic peaks of the Northern French Alps. Inspired by the Tour de France stages in Savoie during the late 90s, bikes have become his ultimate companion—both on a day-to-day basis and while travelling—whether it’s tackling technical singletrack on a mountain bike, powering up iconic climbs, or cruising down scenic backroads.
