Another 100 Greatest Cycling Climbs: A Road Cyclist’s Guide to Britain’s Hills is Simon Warren’s sequel to his original 100 climbs. It’s in the same pocket-sized format.
Pros
- The successful formula of the original book is repeated here: good photos, succinct but warm text and useful fact file.
- Includes many of the hills that some expected to appear in the first edition.

Cons
- There’s still room for some nit-picking on the choice of hills – but less so given that with the first book as well, there are now 200 hills to choose from!
Want More?
- Use the free greatest cycling climbs map to pinpoint all 200 hills
- The 100 Climbs smartphone app includes the climbs from this second book (so it includes 200 climbs).
- We also love the regional volumes, for example, Cycling Climbs of South-East England
