Yewande Adesida (Yewie) started cycling in 2016 and is now racing for the sprint team SES Racing. Yewie is keen to help others into cycling. She advocates for better representation of women and people of colour within the sport. She was one of Cycling UK's 100 Women in Cycling in 2021.

Desmond Bergin is a regular cyclist in the Wicklow Mountains, an area he’s been going to on annual holidays for many years.

Janice Small was born and brought up on Arran. She started cycling twenty years ago on an old mountain bike but caught the bug after doing a charity ride for Leukaemia Research. The following year she took part in a 50 mile Pedal for Scotland ride and was then off, signing up for rides all over the world, from LEJOG to India, Nepal, Bhutan, cycling across America and more mundane destinations (relatively speaking!) including Mallorca, Tenerife and Lanzarote.

Chris Grabyn is an Aussie who was born in Geelong, Victoria, and now lives in Melbourne with his wife Carol (also pictured here). He was a late comer to road cycling but is now making up for lost time and is a fan of the big climbs.

Simon Worsley is an avid cyclist who has taken part in the Marmotte no less than seven times!

Sarah Llewellyn is a cyclist from the UK who has lived in San Francisco for many years. She says "When my husband and I moved from London to San Francisco in 1997, we told our families we’d be gone between three and five years. But more than 25 years later, we're still here! The Bay Area has so much natural beauty and so much to offer in terms of outdoor activities that we have never stopped reminding ourselves how lucky we are to live here.
